
Quick reservation process
Inventory Reservations for Magento 2 allows store owners / managers to reserve products for customers, guaranteeing the availability of goods in the warehouse at a predetermined time.
Even in the era of e-commerce, not all customers prefer to create orders online: they do not want, cannot find products (when the nomenclature is very large) or they do not have enough time.
In this case, the manager or sales representative can reserve the desired product for the client, giving him an opportunity to check and pay for the order in his personal account. This saves the customer's time and allows you to build a strong business relationships.
Also, it often happens that a customer wants to purchase a popular product, but postpones the purchase process. With the Inventory Reservations for Magento 2 , the goods can be reserved for a certain time for the specific customer.
This guarantees the availability of goods in the warehouse, in addition, other buyers will not be able to buy it before the date of the reservation expires.
Information about existing reserves is placed in the reservations grid. When the reservation expires, it will be deleted automatically.
Admin can view, remove the reservation or delete certain products from the reserve.
Select a customer and add products to the reservation.
Simple products can be added to the reservation right away, but bundle, configurable and group products need to be configured.
You can also leave a comment for the customer.
New column was added to the product grid for better products tracking.
New tab “My Reservations” was added to the My Account page at the front-end.
The customer has an ability to cancel the reservation, remove some items or add reserved products to the cart.
Once products were added to the cart, the customer can purchase these items.
Once an order is created, the reservation will be removed.
